Floura Teeter Celebrates New Certifications

Floura Teeter Landscape Architects, Inc. is pleased to announce several members of our staff have achieved new professional certifications adding to our in-house expertise and demonstrating their commitment to professional development.

Landscape Designers Joe Ignatius, Matt Ellingson, and Jon Gemmell recently received their LEED Green Associate accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Their accomplishment keeps our staff LEED accreditation at 100%.

Senior Associate Alice Storm Jones, PLA, LEED AP BD+C, participated in a two-day classroom course and passed a rigorous exam to achieve her Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification from the National Recreation and Park Association. Senior Associate and Director of Sustainability, Zolna Russell, PLA, LEED AP BD+C, recently became a SITES Accredited Professional. The SITES AP credential establishes a common framework to define the profession of sustainable landscape design and development. Zolna has been a champion for sustainable landscapes and communities throughout her entire career and the attainment of the new SITES AP credential further demonstrates her commitment to sustainability.
