Floura Teeter Landscape Architects announces its third annual “Community Grows Here” Facebook contest. Floura Teeter invites members of the community to nominate a Baltimore metro area-based non-profit to enter to win pro bono services or financial or volunteer support throughout 2016. Nominations open February 1, 2016 and must be posted on the Floura Teeter’s Facebook page no later than February 29th.
Floura Teeter launched Community Grows Here in 2014 as a follow-up to the company’s 10th anniversary initiative in which it supported 10 local charities in meaningful ways. Civic Works—Baltimore’s urban service corps and an Americorps program—was the inaugural Community Grows Here winner in 2014 and received pro bono services to revitalize the Dayspring Program Facility’s parking lot as part of Baltimore’s Growing Green Initiative. The 2015 winner, The League for People with Disabilities serves more than 2,500 people annually through nine therapeutic programs that help individuals with disabilities gain independence, increase self-sufficiency, and improve their quality of life. The League also received pro bono design services for various campus and courtyard improvements at their Cold Spring Lane location in Baltimore.
To enter Floura Teeter’s Third Annual Community Grows Here Facebook competition:
