Vibrant Streets: A Tool for Community Wellness: Zolna Russell, PLA, LEED AP+, SITES AP, will be joined by City of College Park Planning Director, Terry Schum, and project partner Liz Gordon of Kittleson Associates to present the revitalization plan for the City of College Park’s commercial district. The presentation will go over the team’s approach to a health and wellness overlay that addressed all components of revitalization.
Business Development Seller-Doer Panel, MEGA Maryland: As part of the MEGA Maryland Small | Minority Business Conference for A/E/C, Joan Floura, PLA, LEED AP, will participate as a panelist on maximizing the seller-doer role.
The Case for Great Spaces: Staying Design Savvy with Limiting Project Parameters, ASLA 2018 Annual Meeting: Along with co-presenters Timothy Devlin, ASLA, and Francine Lieberman, PLA, ASLA, Joan Floura, PLA, LEED AP, will explore how simple changes in material choices can impact the design of a space while still meeting maintenance and budget requirements in her first appearance as an ASLA Annual Meeting presenter.
