Floura Teeter’s Director of Sustainability, Zolna Russell, has over 30 years experience in sustainable landscape design with a focus on educational and therapeutic landscapes. Active in the sustainability community both locally and nationally, Russell has served on the board of directors for the Maryland Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and is a Sustainable Sites subject matter expert and educational program reviewer for the USGBC. A frequent speaker and presenter on sustainable topics, she has also authored numerous articles for publications including Landscape Architecture Magazine. Russell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University and Master’s degree in Geography and Environmental Planning from Towson University.
