One mile north of the recently-completed InterCounty Connector/MD 200, this project includes a new I-95 interchange for the Maryland State Highway Administration, an interchange which will be essential to the future Konterra mixed-use development on an adjacent parcel. Part of the design-build team, Floura Teeter is working with Wallace Montgomery and American Infrastructure Construction.
The landscape design included Environmental Site Design facilities, reforestation, and all other planting within the project limits; the project scope included definitive design, final design, and construction administration services. Floura Teeter used a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to the design process, as coordination with roadway, drainage, structural, traffic, and environmental engineers was critical to the success of the work. Construction administration and post design services included installation oversight, quality control, inspections during planting, and throughout the two-year warranty period.
