Landscape architecture allows me to work with the environment and people by bringing communities together outside.
While tending the plants at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC, Kaila began to observe the way people navigated and appreciated outdoor spaces. These observations along with her background in environmental science led her to pursue landscape architecture as a career.
