Floura Teeter served as the landscape architect for the development of innovative conceptual plans and construction documents aimed at enhancing placemaking opportunities for proposed bike trail connections. This initiative seeks to establish a comprehensive bike trail network that links the City of Annapolis with its surroundings, allowing greater accessibility and connectivity for residents and visitors alike.

Work included conceptual designs, focusing on way stations and trailheads that will serve as essential stops along the route. The project emphasizes active community engagement, gathering input and ideas from local residents to ensure that the designs reflect their needs and preferences.

The concepts feature a variety of amenities including the development of mini-parks, installation of signage, site furnishings, and lighting, as well as the incorporation of pedestrian bridges. These initiatives not only address existing stormwater management challenges but also create inviting communal spaces where individuals can gather, socialize, and enjoy the trails while supporting local businesses.

The City of Annapolis is firmly committed to promoting multimodal transportation solutions and plans to begin implementation of these projects in 2025.
