The proposed event and performance plaza at Penn State York is envisioned as a gathering space for students, a place for events and fundraisers and as an outdoor venue supporting Penn State’s robust performance program.
Located adjacent to the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center and the Graham Center for Collaboration and Innovation, this space enriches campus life and expands Graham’s mission of promoting innovative thinking.

The Outdoor Events Plaza proposes a two-tiered space. The plaza is located at the entrance of Pullo and is accessed from the parking lot and an additional door to allow indoor/outdoor events. An ample covered bar will double as study space and staging for catered events. Tables, set into a lushly planted garden edge, provide a place of refuge for busy students and faculty.

A ramp transitions the grade into an amphitheater and stage to support performances, outdoor classes, and events for the campus and community. Furnished for use when there are not performances, this amphitheater will support Penn State’s robust arts community by providing sound, lighting and infrastructure to enhance cultural offerings.
