Replacing a surface parking lot, the Tower at West General Robinson provides a multi-use building which will activate the street and the north shore corridor in Pittsburgh. Located across the street from PNC Park, this new building provides 291 rental units, retail and other resident amenities.
A terrace, overlooking the ballpark, features a pool, fire tables, bar and amenity spaces as well as generously planted raised planters. Thoughtful detailing and modern design make this building an important part of the urban fabric. In addition to the amenity deck, streetscape detailing includes expanded tree plantings, outdoor dining for a retail use, a bike amenity court and dog park.

This project falls under the City of Pittsburgh’s stringent Riverfront Zoning and meets sustainability requirements including collecting and recycling water, native plantings, and combatting heat island.
