This project includes a new interchange for the Maryland State Highway Administration along Interstate-95 near West Laurel in Prince George’s County – an interchange which will be essential to the large Konterra mixed-use development planned for an adjacent parcel.
Landscape plans included Environmental Site Design facilities, reforestation, and all other planting within the project limits; the project scope included definitive design, final design, and construction administration services. Floura Teeter used a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to the design process, as coordination with the roadway, drainage, structural, traffic, and environmental teams was critical to the success of the work. Construction administration and post design services included installation oversight, quality control, inspections during planting, and throughout the two-year warranty period.
