Indiana University of Pennsylvania Site Improvements
Floura Teeter is the designer for various landscape improvement projects at The Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Working closely with the Facilities Department personnel, a focus has been placed on designing features that strike a balance between delivering a high-caliber visual impact while minimizing additional maintenance needs.
- Floura Teeter developed a campus standard for a landscape planting palette for building signage. Once implemented, the planting will also serve to greatly simplify the maintenance procedures of the campus.
- Floura Teeter performed a study of landscape interventions at Sprowls Hall plaza to enhance a major campus node for visitors and commuters and proposed a simplified circulation scheme while integrating wayfinding, social spaces, and designation for an iconic university element to celebrate the pride and values of the university.
- Floura Teeter performed schematic design for a plaza at the south entrance to Eberly College of Business and Technology that includes modern/flexible elements and an open approach from the heavily used commuter lot.
